03.31.08 ~ Our Architect, David Beringer of BCDM visited St. Mark's to introduce members of the recently merged office with Tempe based Barduson Associates, a national leader in the design of liturgical churches. The Barduson team of Tempe has collaborated with BCDM to master plan facilities for St. Mary Magdelene Catholic Church, Gilbert, AZ, St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Phoenix, AZ and St. Germaine Catholic Church, Prescott Valley, AZ.

 

Steven Barduson, AIA., and Kathy Sponsel, AIA, team leader of the architectural team, both met with campaign leaders of St.Mark and Fr. Liam to help clarify questions raised by members of St. Mark's during family visitations or telephone calls, to put into context what they mean, what the future holds and to gather input from those present. The BCDM/Barduson team was very responsive and informative regarding our stage in the process and provided many ideas to assist us in moving to the next level. Their pledge of commitment is to consider all construction types to stretch the dollar and to examine all options.
